The people who make it
Family-run mills in Portugal and Italy, small sewing workshops audited yearly, and why we never moved production out of Europe.

Every standard pace garment is spun, knitted, dyed and sewn inside Europe. Not because it is cheaper — it is not — but because it is the only way we can walk into the room where our clothes are made.
Mills that answer the phone
Our yarn comes from family-run mills in Portugal and Italy, increasingly powered by renewable electricity. They are small enough that a run of a few hundred pieces is worth their time, and close enough that a problem is a drive away rather than a shipping container away.
Wages and audits
The workshops that sew for us pay above the regional living wage and are audited yearly. Keeping the chain short is what makes that checkable rather than merely claimed.
