Folded organic cotton garments in cream, olive and clay

The most sustainable garment is the one you keep wearing. Most of a t-shirt's lifetime footprint is decided after it reaches you — in how it is washed, dried and repaired.

Four habits

Wash at 30°C with a mild detergent. Hot water is what fades plant dyes and tires elastane.

Air dry in the shade. Tumble drying is the single fastest way to shorten the life of a cotton knit.

Wash less. Airing socks overnight is often enough between runs.

Mend early. A repair kit ships with every order, and repairs are free in the first two years.

When it is truly finished

Send worn pieces back to us and they go into fibre recycling rather than landfill.
