standard pace joins 1% for the Planet

The organic cotton basics label commits 1% of annual revenue to environmental non-profits, independent of profit.

standard pace has joined 1% for the Planet, committing one percent of annual revenue — not profit — to accredited environmental non-profits. The commitment applies from the brand's first year of trading.

The pledge sits alongside existing practices: GOTS certified organic cotton, plant and mineral dyeing in closed-loop baths, and repair before replacement. Customers can send worn garments back for repair or textile recycling in Portugal.

standard pace launches with three naturally dyed essentials

A running sock, an everyday brief and an everyday tee — organic cotton, plant dyed, made in Europe and sold direct.

standard pace opens with a deliberately short range: the 01 running sock, the 02 everyday brief and the 03 everyday tee. All three are made from GOTS certified organic cotton and coloured with madder root, indigo, oak bark and earth pigments rather than azo dyes.

Every piece is knitted, cut and sewn in Europe, primarily in Portugal, in workshops the founders visit in person. Multi-packs and mix-and-match bundles are offered so customers can replace a full drawer at once rather than one item at a time.
